Down to a Fine Art

The new director of the Jackson Arts Council, in some ways, started with a blank canvas—a chance to reset how the organization moves forward. B3 was hired to create and deploy a brand message and look that compliments the existing logo while ensuring that the mission of the JAC is well understood. Our work consisted of the following projects:

  • Fundraising Print Materials

  • Website Re-design

  • Videography

  • Promotional Materials

  • Jackson Art Box

Simplified and Informative

When re-designing the new Jackson Arts Council website, our biggest (and most fun) challenge was re-organizing content. How could we make it easier to navigate, ensuring users were always able to find what they needed? We weren’t kidding when we said it was fun! We were able to eliminate all drop-down menus and combine pages, making it much easier for artists and supporters to find what they need.

Jackson Art Box

The Jackson Art Box was created for schools to use as a tool to connect with children dealing with trauma. Research indicates that children who are allowed to express themselves creatively are more comfortable talking to an adult about their experiences. Additionally, creating art is known to be therapeutic.

Each art box is filled with age-appropriate supplies and given to children by school counselors. This initiative was made possible by organizations like B3 who donated time and financial resources.

B3 collaborated with Jackson illustrator, Kris Stewart, for this project.
