Account Manager (Agriculture)

As an Account Manager at B3 Creative Agency, you’ll play a key role in leading agriculture client relationships, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring marketing projects move forward with clarity and purpose. You’ll collaborate closely with our leadership and creative teams, helping to translate ag-specific business goals into effective, strategic campaigns.

Success in this role requires strong communication, organization, and a deep understanding of the agriculture industry. It’s a fast-paced, relationship-focused position built for someone who can confidently balance client needs with internal team coordination, while always keeping the work on track, on message, and on brand.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Project/Account & Team Management 
      • Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned accounts, representing B3 with confidence and professionalism. 
      • Prepare for and lead client meetings, including building agendas, taking notes, and sending timely follow-up emails.
      • Translate client feedback, requests, and business goals into actionable internal direction.
      • Understand each client’s brand, voice, values, and industry-specific needs to guide marketing strategy and messaging.
      • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction, campaign results, and long-term client engagement. 
      • Stay present and engaged during shoots, site visits, or any in-person event.  
      • Manage project timelines, team assignments, creative deliverables, and vendor deadlines to ensure deadlines are met.
      • Perform competitive research and lead market analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
      • Maintain and update your accounts/projects on our project management software with estimated time, priority level, and clear task descriptions.
      • Distribute budgets and give key direction to the team on each task to keep projects within scope and budget.
      • Delegate tasks clearly, ensuring teammates understand client expectations and deadlines.
      • Respond to all client communication within 24 hours (business days).
      • Review all materials before they are shared with clients (you are the final eye for quality, accuracy, and brand alignment).
      • Collaborate with fellow Account Managers to redistribute workload when priorities shift.
      • Work directly with the Office Administrator monthly to ensure accurate invoicing and billing.
      • Mentor Account Coordinators and junior staff, providing guidance, support, and accountability.
      • Offer clear, objective, and constructive feedback to designers, writers, and team members throughout the creative process, focusing on alignment with project goals, brand standards, and client expectations.
      • Coordinate and manage the ordering of promotional products, printed materials, or branded collateral.
      • Draft and edit marketing content such as flyers, email campaigns, website copy, and social media posts.
      • Collaborate with team members to oversee monthly social media content creation, ensuring it aligns with clients goals.
      • Launch and monitor social and digital ad campaigns (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) 
      • Analyze performance reports (Google Analytics, Meta, Sprout Social, etc.) and offer insights to improve future campaigns.
      • Take accountability for project issues or mistakes, and work with the team to develop solutions and prevent repeat errors.
    • Administrative & Creative Growth 
      • Attend team brainstorms, strategy sessions, and planning meetings.
      • Participate in professional development to strengthen marketing knowledge and industry awareness.
      • Support day-to-day operations by completing administrative tasks, running occasional errands, assisting with office needs, answering phones, taking accurate messages, and communicating professionally in person, over the phone, and via email.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in tracking and presenting metrics.
  • Knowledge of editorial workflows/publication processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in account/client management or a related marketing role.
  • Experience in agriculture marketing or the agribusiness industry is highly preferred.
  • Travel to ag-related conferences and meetings is required.
  • Ability to work outdoors during farm visits, shoots, and other on-site events as required by the role.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of current marketing principles (digital, social, traditional, print) or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple accounts based on urgency and impact.
  • Proven leadership and stress-management skills.
  • Able to understand clients’ business models and implement brand messaging, especially for ag-centric organizations.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, able to take ownership of tasks and follow through independently without oversight.
  • Ability to accurately log time using project management software and manage workload within the client’s budget.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to producing accurate, polished work by thoroughly checking details, data, and deliverables. 
  • Takes ownership of errors and proactively suggests solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Comfortable answering phones and handling client and team communications with professionalism and clarity.
  • Open to constructive feedback and able to quickly adjust work to align with client goals and quality standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute positively to team culture.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills, capable of drafting clear, compelling content with minimal to no corrections across various accounts and mediums.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized to maintain quality and consistency in all deliverables.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment by juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving client needs and agency goals.

  • Comfortable and proficient with standard digital tools including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Dropbox, social media platforms, and project management software.
